Are you a fan of reality shows? Are you interested in the art of matchmaking? Then you won’t want to miss the upcoming event brought to you by Tribe 12, featuring Aleeza Ben Shalom, star of Netflix’s new reality series “Jewish Matchmaking“!
Taking place on May 16th at the Weitzman Museum of American Jewish History, this event promises to be an exciting evening filled with entertainment, insights, and of course delicious kosher desserts.
As a Tribe 12 Fellow, Aleeza Ben Shalom launched her matchmaking business and has since become a renowned expert in the field. Her new show, “Jewish Matchmaking”, follows her as she helps Jewish singles find love and navigate the challenges of modern dating.
At this event, attendees will have the opportunity to watch the first episode of the show and hear remarks from Aleeza herself. Afterward, there will be a talkback and live taping of The Yentas podcast with Tribe 12 matchmakers Danielle Selber and Michal Naisteter. The Yentas is a podcast about Jewish matchmaking, featuring real-life questions from people searching for love. Danielle, Michal and Aleeza are all past Tribe 12 Fellows — how cool is that?
In addition to the entertainment and insights, attendees can also look forward to a delicious kosher dessert bar after the event, where they can mingle and chat with other attendees. If you are a person who is dating in Philly’s Jewish community, this is a great scene for you.
This event is presented by Tribe 12, Philadelphia Jewish Film + Media and the Weitzman Museum of American Jewish History, and is an official program of Jewish American Heritage Month (JAHM). It’s a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the rich history and traditions of Jewish matchmaking, as well as to connect with other members of the Jewish community.
Even if you’re not Jewish or interested in matchmaking specifically, this event is still worth attending. It’s a chance to see a talented and engaging reality star in person, and to learn more about a fascinating aspect of Jewish culture. This event is free and all are welcome!
So come out for a night of fun, entertainment, and community-building. Whether you’re looking for love, interested in the art of matchmaking, or simply looking for a fun night out, this event is not to be missed. Get your free ticket at tribe12.org/jm.
