The 39th Gershman Philadelphia Jewish Film Festival (GPJFF) is here! Since the festival’s founding nearly four decades ago, GPJFF has grown from a “signature program” of a thriving Jewish arts & culture organization to operating as its own independent film non-profit. With new year-round programs (Festival Plus!), its annual two-week celebration of Jewish cinema in November (Fall Fest), and its six-week Monday night series showcasing the hottest Jewish films hitting the festival circuit in the spring (Lindy CineMondays), GPJFF is Philadelphia’s center for international Jewish cinema!
Taking place at 11 venues throughout Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs, GPJFF’s annual celebration of the best Jewish cinema from around the world returns November 9 – 23.
