A Musical Purim Extravaganza

A musical Purim Extravaganza (2)

Celebrate Purim with an interactive evening full of quirky games (think: human bingo, Jackbox, Never Have I Ever), a costume contest, storytelling, song parodies to sing along to, and fun surprises around every corner.

Hosted by Ceremonialist and Tribe 12 Matchmaker Lisa Green, Tribe 12 Rabbinic Intern/Songstress Adina Ikeman, and Musician Sarah Brewster!

What’s the schedule? Doors open at 6:30pm for dinner then get silly with us for the interactive show beginning at 7pm. Before the event at 5:30pm, there is a megillah reading with Mamash Chabad on the first floor of the Weitzman.

What’s to eat and drink? A vegetarian dinner and hamentashen will be served! Signature specialty cocktails will be available all night long. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be provided.

Who’s it for? All people in their 20s and 30s! The event is geared towards building connection with tons of shmooze time, a chance to make new friends over fun icebreakers and a few things geared specifically towards participants who are single. It is a great event for people of all relationship statuses and all levels of Purim experience.

Should I dress up? Costumes are optional but encouraged! Best dressed gets a prize!

How much does it cost? Sliding scale of $10 – $36!

Is there a megillah reading? Yes, at 5:30pm our friends from Mamash Chabad are hosting a reading on the first floor of the Weitzman specifically for our event participants.

This event is delightfully co-presented by Tribe 12, Weitzman Museum of American Jewish History, Spruce Street Minyan, Moishe House Philadelphia and Russian Speaking Jewish (RSJ) Moishe House. Thank you to the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia for sponsoring this event.
