The Sweet Taste of Zero Waste: A Waste Free Shabbat Dinner

You’re invited to Repair the World Philadelphia’s and Jewish Grad Student Network’s The Sweet Taste of Zero Waste: A Zero Waste Shabbat Dinner on November 30th.

We will be discussing waste and the social and political implications of who gets to define waste. What even is ethical consumption? What does Judaism teach us about the radical acts of reducing and reusing in our world of single-use items and planned obsolescence?

All this over a delicious vegetarian Shabbat dinner with new and old friends!

Tribe 12 connects people in their 20s/30s to Jewish life and community in Philadelphia today so they will choose to stay connected tomorrow. We welcome people who identify as Jewish, whose partner is Jewish, or who are exploring Judaism.

If you require any accommodations in order to fully participate in our programming, please see our page on accommodations. If you require any financial assistance to participate, contact us at info@tribe12.org.
