In the last decade, new voices have emerged at the forefront of discussions and debate on US-Israel policy—voices that are shaping conversations on college campuses and marching in the streets. In this lively discussion, students and recent grads join policy experts for a discussion on the present and future of US foreign policy in the Middle East (including Israel and Iran), what matters to young American Jews, and what’s at stake on all sides.
Journalist Laura E. Adkins, opinion editor for the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, leads a conversation with policy experts and students —
• Matan Arad-Neeman, Haverford College sophomore and member of the J Street National Student Board
• Jeremy Ben-Ami, President, J Street
• Amanda Berman, Co-Founder and President, Zioness Movement; former Director of Legal Affairs, The Lawfare Project
• Sophia Kruger, recent graduate and former head of PIPAC — AIPAC’s on-campus presence at the University of Pennsylvania
Additionally, the Young Friends of NMAJH will host a post-panel reception for Young Friends members and guests, inviting those on our panel representing student voices to join us for light refreshments and continued conversation. Generously sponsored by the Snider Foundation, this event is free and open to members and non-members alike (though we do ask that attendees register online beforehand.)
