Anchor Baby: A Stand-Up Show

Being pregnant is such a confusing thing, especially for a virgin. Yemima is an Israeli comedian, sociology prof., former orthodox Jew and an officer in the Israeli army, who starts a new life in West Philly, where she becomes a mother for the first time. In a special, one-hour biting stand-up show Yemima slays basic perception of Israel, immigration, pregnancy, life in America and — her mother in law. Yemima brings her unique life experiences, sharp wit, and outsider perspective to an act that promises to roll you off your seats and reshape your view of life in the Middle East, the reproductive system and the American dream.
