Balkan Dance Party Benefit for New Sanctuary Movement

Kol Tzedek West Philadelphia Synagogue Invites you to celebrate and support the New Sanctuary Movement of Philadelphia’s “radical welcome for all” with a raucous community dance party with local Balkan brass heroes, West Philadelphia Orchestra. Featuring a Kol Tzedek Pot Luck Bake Sale — bring your best baked goods and make your community smile. Sweeeeet!

The New Sanctuary Movement “builds community across faith, ethnicity, and class in our work to end injustices against immigrants regardless of immigration status, express radical welcome for all, and ensure that values of dignity, justice, and hospitality are lived out in practice and upheld in policy.”

Co-sponsored by Kol Tzedek’s New Sanctuary Movement organizing committee and the Sand family, in honor of Molly Sand’s Bat Mitzvah.

Location Calvary Center for Culture and Community at 48th and Baltimore in West Philadelphia

Doors open 7pm. Havdallah then band at 7:30.

Suggested donation: $10, no one turned away for lack of funds
