Please join us as we present the Honorable Sandra Mazer Moss with the “Benjamin F. Levy Community Service Award.”
The award, established in 2001 to honor the life of Benjamin F Levy (z’l), provides recognition to an individual who is a member of the bench or bar and has demonstrated a sustained commitment to serving the legal and broader community.
Our Society benefited from Levy’s tireless commitment and he is remembered as a leader whose efforts contributed to the creation of the Louis D Brandeis Law Society. Levy epitomized the ideal of social responsibility and generous service to others as shown by his dedication to our Society, the Philadelphia Bar Association, Temple Law School, Philadelphia Folk Festival and a myriad of organizations within the larger community.
The award is a hand-crafted pewter and brass dreidel designed and created by local Judaica artist, Joy Stember.
