Dancing With Giants takes place in the boxing world against the 1930’s rise of Nazi Germany and involves the survival of an unusual friendship among three very different people: an African American (Joe Louis, the American boxing champion), a German boxer (Max Schmeling, Hitler’s favorite boxer) and a wise-cracking New York Jewish boxing promoter (Joe “Yussel the Muscle” Jacobs, played by Tovah Feldshuh).
Dancing With Giants, written by David Feldshuh, is a fictionalized account of a story inspired by true events.
