Latkes & Learning: Embracing Darkness and Light
How can we find wisdom and even beauty in times that feel painful? How can we learn to honor “darkness” as a teacher, celebrate it along with light, and embrace i as an inevitable part of life? We will explore these questions by looking at traditional and contemporary Jewish texts and sharing our own ideas.
Hanukkah Pajama Party:
Join us to celebrate Hanukkah – Tribe 12 style! We will serve a delicious Kosher Chinese food dinner, have donuts for dessert, and plenty of beer, hard seltzer, and “soft” seltzer (Non-alcoholic). We will light the Hanukkiah together, schmooze, eat gelt, do cozy Hanukkah crafts, and play dreidel and more games! But most importantly, WEAR PAJAMAS – this is an extra cozy, super comfy, pajama ONLY party, and we can’t wait to see what you show up wearing!
