Tourist Tribe (Instagram) (13)

Email amanda.graff@tribe12.org to join the waitlist.

Join Amanda and the I Love Philly Tribe on their next adventure: touring Eastern State Penitentiary! Eastern State was America’s first penitentiary as well as the first US prison with a synagogue inside the walls.

As a special treat just for our group, our private tour will include a visit to the prison’s synagogue, restored to it’s 1959 appearance. We will be among the first to see their brand new exhibit on Jewish life in Eastern State!

The tour begins at 11:30am, so please arrive by 11:15am so we can get settled and start together. Since parts of the experience take place both indoors and outdoors, please dress for the weather. Space is limited and registration is required in advance. Amanda will follow up with all the details about where to meet!

Join us at the World Cup Final Watch Party at Urban Saloon right after this event!.  Urban Saloon is located across the street/a 2 minute walk from Eastern State.

Tribe 12 connects people in their 20s/30s to Jewish life and community in Philadelphia today so they will choose to stay connected tomorrow. We welcome people who identify as Jewish, whose partner is Jewish, or who are exploring Judaism.

If you require any accommodations in order to fully participate in our programming, please see our page on accommodations. If you require any financial assistance to participate, contact us at info@tribe12.org.
