Jewish Film Festival: GOLDEN VOICES | Opening Night Film

Presented by the Gershman Philadelphia Jewish Film Festival (GPJFF), the 7th Annual Lindy CineMondays spring series kicks off with the premiere of GOLDEN VOICES!

Upon the collapse of the Soviet Union, Raya and Victor Frenkel, famed for dubbing the finest films of the 20th century for Soviet audiences, make aliyah and begin their life anew in Israel. Realizing their unique brand has no market in the holy land, they are forced to use their talents in unexpected ways, leading them to wildly absurd predicaments and an adventure of a lifetime. With a perfect mix of poignancy, levity and heart, GOLDEN VOICES offers an intimate glimpse into the experience of Soviet Jews during the single largest wave of immigration in Israel’s history.
