JFS Takes Root: A Stakeholder Gathering

In 2013, Jewish Farm School made our work in Philadelphia at the nexus of urban sustainability, food justice, and Jewish traditions our primary focus. Our vision was to open a shared programming space where the community could gather, learn, and celebrate. We are thrilled to announce that beginning this winter JFS is working closely with Kol Tzedek Synagogue and other partners to operate a new hub for Jewish life in West Philly.

At this moment of tremendous potential, we invite you to join us for a gathering to celebrate this milestone. Learn more about some exciting plans we have in the coming months, how we envision the Jewish community being engaged in local food justice efforts, and how you can help shape our work over the next few years to build a just, vibrant, and resilient community.

This is a celebration as JFS begins a new chapter- your voice is important to us and we want you here to get rooted and be a part of crafting this shared vision.

Food and drink will be provided. Space is limited, so please register through the eventbrite link.
