This isn’t your bubbe’s Mahjong night at the JCC. Join other members of Jewish Philly’s LGBTQIA+ community for a chill night out at our monthly (Gay)me Night! We’ll light the Shabbat candles, have a drink or two, and meet other queer Jews over a surreal night of Exquisite Corpse!
Created by the Surrealists (like Salvador Dali and Frida Kahlo), players play by taking turns drawing sections of a body on a sheet of a paper, folded to hide each individual contribution. The first player adds a head, then hides it so the next artists adds a torso, and so on. What better what to prove that gender is over than creating a strange and comical mashup of bodies?
