May Professional Development Session

Mentorship Kickoff

This session is part of the ongoing monthly professional development sessions offered by Tribe 12. If you are interested in joining the Mentorship Program that runs alongside the professional development sessions, you can find more information here.

At this event, you’ll hear from someone with expertise in their field.

This months session is with Nancy Leaderman on Difficult Conversations: How to Communicate Clearly and Manage Challenging Situations;

  • We all have to face tough conversations at some point, and most of us find that they make us feel anxious at best and downright panicked at worst. In this interactive session, we will explore strategies and tools for communicating clearly and sensitively, managing our own stress, and building connections in even difficult interactions.

This event is casual, welcoming, and open to anyone. Whether you want to become a mentee, a mentor, or just engage in some professional development. Don’t miss this opportunity to jumpstart your growth, build meaningful relationships, and be part of a community that truly lifts each other up. We can’t wait to see you there!

Dinner included from 6:30 PM – 7:00 PM, then the program will be 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM.

Tribe 12 connects people in their 20s/30s to Jewish life and community in Philadelphia today so they will choose to stay connected tomorrow. We welcome people who identify as Jewish, whose partner is Jewish, or who are exploring Judaism.

If you require any accommodations in order to fully participate in our programming, please see our page on accommodations. If you require any financial assistance to participate, contact us at info@tribe12.org.
