MESIBA! Philly Celebrates Israel @71!

fb-events_images_271420013812128

Be part of the biggest Israel celebration in Philly! All are invited to celebrate Yom Haatzmaut, Israeli Independence Day.

Our theme this year is Eurovision; an international original song competition that elevates Europe’s culture, music, and people in a week-long televised bash. Eurovision is well known throughout the world for being a celebration of peace among nations and creating bridges among different cultures and identities.

Last year the Israeli singer, Neta Barzilai, won the competition for Israel and this year Israel is hosting Eurovision!

What better way to rejoice in Israel’s 71st birthday than to sing, dance, and be merry?! Come out with your friends from The Jewish Graduate Student Network, NextGen, and Tribe 12 on May 9th at Infusion Lounge!

Gal Gadot and Madonna have not told us that they *aren’t* coming to MESIBA…which means they could maybe possibly be considering joining us there ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

See you on May 9th!
