Tribe 12 Sings: Monthly Music Circle

Music Circle (Instagram)

Song connects us to our bodies, to those who surround us, to those who have sung these melodies before and those who will sing them after us. Here at Tribe 12, we want to find more ways for our community to connect deeply in our joy and our struggles through song. Rabbinic Intern Adina will lead us in music both contemporary and classic, in Hebrew and English, to help us spiritually prepare for the High Holidays. We invite you to bring your voice AND any other instrument you wish: guitar, drum, flute, violin, and more to play along. It’s all welcome!

This is a monthly offering and each month we will alternate between a location in Northwest Philly and the Weitzman museum. This month’s music circle will be in a lovely part of the Wissahickon park with benches positioned in a circle (feel free to bring a chair if you’d like). There will be a backup indoor location in Northwest Philly in case of inclement weather.

Tribe 12 connects people in their 20s/30s to Jewish life and community in Philadelphia today so they will choose to stay connected tomorrow. We welcome people who identify as Jewish, whose partner is Jewish, or who are exploring Judaism.
