Inspired by Jewish teachings and their people’s historical experience, Jews have been disproportionately represented in movements for social justice in this country. We will examine the prominent roles played by rabbis, political figures, labor organizers and other activists in advocating for the rights of all members of American society. These individuals’ memoirs, speeches and writings offer much inspiration for those involved in social justice efforts today. Let’s explore together!
