Panel: Anti-Semitism, Anti-Zionism and the Media

Join Engagement Associate Ross Weisman for an important discussion in the Jewish community. If you plan on attending, register here and let Ross know you’re coming by sending an email to rossw@tribe12.org!

Anti-Semitism is on the rise, and is often masked in criticism of Israeli policy or rejection of Jewish history in the region. The media plays a pivotal role in both the rise and the fall of these trends. Our community now has the opportunity to hear from members of the local press to hear how they tackle these subjects in their day-to-day reporting. The media panel will be an opportunity for you to hear their thoughts on these important issues and engage in a directive Q&A.

Panelists include:

Stu Bykofsky, columnist for the Philadelphia Inquirer and Daily News

Mark Segal, editor of the Philadelphia Gay News

Liz Spikol, editor of the Jewish Exponent

Light refreshments will be provided
