In response to current events, we are offering a pop-up space to process, write and gather together. This gathering borrows a model from the series we hosted in winter of 2023.
This facilitated writing and sharing circle focuses on the shared human emotion of fear. It is for those experiencing fear — whether fear for their own safety, fear for those in Israel and Gaza, fear from the political landscape, fear of antisemitism, or something else.
There will be dedicated time for quiet writing guided by prompts then an opportunity for structured (optional) sharing. In this space, we will engage in witnessing each other’s fears rather than challenging them, with an invitation to express curiosity and validation for fears that may look different from our own.
Please note that this highly facilitated space requires participants to speak in turn and engage respectfully, with no tolerance for personal attacks or disruptive behavior. No previous writing experience is required.
$5 includes kosher sushi dinner. This gathering will be led by one of Tribe 12’s engagement professionals, Danielle Selber. Email danielle@tribe12.org with questions or if cost is preventative.
