Our ’80s-themed Purim Party is back and is flipping to the upside down! Taking inspiration from the current hit Stranger Things, DJ Robert Drake returns to MC our “Snow Ball” and turn our party up to an eleven. The Gershman Y is delighted to welcome back DJ Robert Drake to the night’s festivities – the local superstar DJ will spin an ’80s-flavored, retro dance party. The WXPN-FM DJ and Kids Corner producer has been spinning the successful Sex Dwarf new wave dance party since 2003. Drake was honored in the Philadelphia City Paper readers’ poll for “Best DJ in Philadelphia” and “Best Dance Party in Philly” (for Sex Dwarf). Drake was also named “Best DJ in Philly” in Philadelphia Magazine in 2014.
