Queer Art in the Sukkah- CANCELED

Queer Art (instagram) (1)

This event is canceled due to low registration. If you are interested in something like this reach out to Molly Paul at molly@tribe12.org.

Join Rabbinic Intern Molly and Artist Miriam Saperstein for an afternoon of art making in the sukkah. Outside a beautiful community garden in West Philly, we will do a short text study about sukkot and make art using canvas and paints. Come prepared to get a little messy, we advise wearing clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. We will provide all needed supplies and snacks. This event is intended for folks who identify on the LGBTQ+ spectrum.

Access Notes: The sukkah is accessible from the street level; however bathrooms are located up inside on the third floor and masks will be required to enter inside. We will have extra masks available for those who need. We also ask that you please take a negative covid test prior to joining to ensure we all stay as safe as possible.

Tribe 12 connects people in their 20s/30s to Jewish life and community in Philadelphia today so they will choose to stay connected tomorrow. We welcome people who identify as Jewish, whose partner is Jewish, or who are exploring Judaism.
