Queer Tribe: Community, Conflict, and Communication Learning Series

Queer tribe learning series (2)

This is a three-part learning series focused on making and keeping community in an isolating world. Galia will guide us through Jewish texts, and examine what it means to create togetherness, to navigate difficult moments, and to express our wants and needs with those around us. Dinner will be served!

After the learning series is over, we’ll gather for shabbat dinner and enjoy the peace of shabbos with our community.

We will meet Thursdays, October 8th, 15th, and 22nd, from 6:30 – 8:30, at the Weitzman, and end with a Shabbat dinner in West Philly on October 23rd at 6:30pm.

Tribe 12 connects people in their 20s/30s to Jewish life and community in Philadelphia today so they will choose to stay connected tomorrow. We welcome people who identify as Jewish, whose partner is Jewish, or who are exploring Judaism.
