Refugee Kids Film Screening with Repair the World

In response to recent actions against immigrants and refugees, Repair the World: Philadelphia will be screening the film Refugee Kids: One Small School Takes on the World at 6 pm on Thursday, April 6th at our workshop (4029 Market St, Philadelphia). Refugee Kids is a 40-minute documentary about a New York City summer school for newly arrived children escaping war and crisis. By screening this film, we hope to put a human face on the refugee story and prompt an important discussion with our community. Feel free to learn more about the film on the Refugee Kids website and check out the trailer for the film. We hope you can join us!
