Repro Shabbat Havdalah with NCJW

Repro Shabbat Havdalah February 18th 5pm to 7pm

Join Jess, Tribe 12’s LGBTQIA+ Tribe Leader and future attorney, for a program developed with the National Council of Jewish Women honoring the Torah portion of Mishpatim, the foundational text of Judaism’s support for reproductive freedom. We will have a discussion on the history and state of reproductive freedom in the US, as well as the intersections and divergences between US law and Jewish law. After a short Havdalah service, light refreshments will be provided at Rabbi Megan’s Mt. Airy home. This event is open to the entire Tribe 12 community, regardless of gender identity or expression.

Address will be sent out after registration!

Tribe 12 connects people in their 20s/30s to Jewish life and community in Philadelphia today so they will choose to stay connected tomorrow. We welcome people who identify as Jewish, whose partner is Jewish, or who are exploring Judaism.

If you require any accommodations in order to fully participate in our programming, please see our page on accommodations. If you require any financial assistance to participate, contact us at info@tribe12.org.

By attending this program, you are committing to follow our Code of Conduct. If you feel that the Code of Conduct is violated at any Tribe 12 program, you can find information on reporting an incident here.
