Tribe 12’s Tishrei Moon Circle will take place during the “”Days of Awe,”” a spiritually significant time between Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur. This is a beautiful opportunity to explore themes such as self-forgiveness, holiness, abundance and intention setting for the year ahead. It is also a traditional time of year for Teshuva. The word “Teshuva” is often translated as “repentance” but literally means “to return.” In essence, Teshuva is an opportunity to return to Self – to return to your values, beliefs, goals, or community; to return to joy and wellbeing.
Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a notebook and pen for journal reflections. Location is a private residence in Northern Liberties (address will be provided to those who register).
We welcome all people who self-identify with or as women, genderqueer, gender-nonconforming, and nonbinary. This circle will be facilitated by Tribe 12’s Assistant Director, Amanda Davidowitz, who is a Jewish yoga teacher, mindfulness guide, coach, and ritual-weaver.
