Spoon Tribe Kickoff

Spoon Tribe

The Spoon Tribe is a welcoming space for disabled folks, people living with chronic illness, and anyone who often feels low on “spoons” or energy. Together, we’ll focus on building community that honors rest, accessibility, and the pace of our own bodies and lives. Gatherings may include gentle conversation, creative expression, easy adventure, or simply shared presence – always with the understanding that participation looks different for everyone.

Meetings will be a mix of virtual and in-person, based on the needs and interests of the group. This is a space to connect without pressure, slow down, and be nourished by Jewish community.

Tribe 12 connects people in their 20s/30s to Jewish life and community in Philadelphia today so they will choose to stay connected tomorrow. We welcome people who identify as Jewish, whose partner is Jewish, or who are exploring Judaism.

If you require any accommodations in order to fully participate in our programming, please see our page on accommodations. If you require any financial assistance to participate, contact us at info@tribe12.org.

By attending this program, you are committing to follow our Code of Conduct. If you feel that the Code of Conduct is violated at any Tribe 12 program, you can find information on reporting an incident here.
