Join us as we examine and learn about the intersection of Judaism and justice on Tuesday, October, 10th in the Julian Abele Park Center City Kehillah Sukkah for our Social Justice Beit Midrash—Welcoming the Stranger: Immigration & Refugees.
At 7:00pm Rabbi Annie Lewis will lead as we dive into Jewish texts that can inform our thinking and action about immigration and refugees. Everybody of all backgrounds is welcome to join us for dialogue, to dream, and find ways of working for justice.
After the learning, stay for some social justice singing. We’ll share some songs in Hebrew and English and use music as another way to build community and strengthen our activist spirits.
