When printer Yakov Cohen’s daughter is expelled from an Ashkenazi high school because of her ethnicity, he decides to take matters into his own hands. With nothing but his passion and two friends to back him, Cohen forms the ethnic political party known today as “Shas” as a way to empower all Sephardic Jews.
