Perhaps when you think about the High Holidays, you remember apples and honey on Rosh Hashanah and being really hungry and a lil withdrawn on Yom Kippur. But our High Holiday season is so much wider than that, taking us on a journey from Elul to Sukkot – from the individual and personal all the way through to the communal and the celebratory.
This is a class dedicated to the journey. To understanding Elul and its role in preparation, introspection, and personal inventory for the High Holidays. To investigating what the High Holiday season is all about and how unlocking the meanings underneath the holidays can help transform our years and our lives. This class meets on Tuesdays from 6:30-8:30 beginning 8/20-9/24. For the class sessions we will be meeting in the conference room on the second floor of the Weitzman and dinner will be served at each class. The cost is $36 with no one turned away for lack of funds.
