Join us first at 5:30pm for happy hour at Fox and Hound at the corner of 15th and Spruce or at 6:30pm right across the street at the Azuka theater. All of Azuka Theatre’s shows are Pay What You Decide so feel free to bring a few dollars to give post show to support the arts!
The show we are seeing is Warplay. Warplay is a poetic and funny re-imagining of the relationship between Achilles and Patroclus, and requires us to reexamine our assumptions about heroism and love. Marking the return to Azuka of Pookie Goes Grenading playwright and television writer JC Lee (ABC’s How to Get Away with Murder, HBO’s Looking), the journey of A & P is a meditation on male intimacy, destiny, and how the constant shadow of war may warp us all.
