Song is a connector, connecting us to our voices and our bodies, to those who surround us, to those who have sung these melodies before and those who will sing them after us. Here at Tribe 12, we want to find more ways for our community to connect in deep in our joy and in our struggles through song. Rachel Chang, head of A Queer Nigun Project, and Rabbinic Intern Molly will lead us in song with guitar and drum. We invite you to bring your voice AND any other instrument you wish: guitar, drum, flute, violin, and more. it’s all welcome!
Tribe 12 connects people in their 20s/30s to Jewish life and community in Philadelphia today so they will choose to stay connected tomorrow. We welcome people who identify as Jewish, whose partner is Jewish, or who are exploring Judaism. Tribe 12 seeks to include all individuals regardless of gender or identity expression, religious history and practice, and financial circumstances. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals, including disabled individuals, to engage fully. If you require any accommodations please see our page on accommodations. Feel free to contact us with any questions at info@tribe12.org
