Join us for a fun evening of wining, dining, learning, and mingling!
Congregation Adath Jeshurun in Elkins Park is delighted to bring back its Center City Tu BShvat Seder welcoming Jewish young adults (ages 21-30+) for a night of meeting new friends, enjoying wine and hors d’oeuvres and celebrating Judaism.
Led by Congregation Adath Jeshurun’s dynamic Rav Shai Cherry, we’ll explore the different themes, rituals, and meaning of Tu BShvat as it has evolved over 2,000 years.
The Tu B’Shvat seder is a kabbalistic (Jewish mystical) ritual that emerged from Israel in the 16th century. It uses trees as a metaphor to describe divine energy [ulsing through the cosmos.
