Tu B’shvat Tacos & Torah

Join Rabbinic Intern Molly Paul for this month’s Tacos and Torah: Tu B’shvat Edition.

We will join together in a Tu B’shvat seder where we will celebrate the trees, and explore what Judaism has to say about our connection to the natural world. Never been to a Tu B’shvat seder before? Think Passover Seder but with a nature twist. We’ll eat four different kinds of fruits to symbolizes different aspects of the earth, drink four glasses of wine or grape juice, and indulge in a vegetarian meal together.

As always $5 covers dinner and drinks!

Tribe 12 connects people in their 20s/30s to Jewish life and community in Philadelphia today so they will choose to stay connected tomorrow. We welcome people who identify as Jewish, whose partner is Jewish, or who are exploring Judaism. Tribe 12 seeks to include all individuals regardless of gender or identity expression, religious history and practice, and financial circumstances. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals, including disabled individuals, to engage fully. If you require any accommodations please see our page on accommodations.
