Turn the Tables Shabbat Dinner

Repair the World, Moishe House Philly, AEPi Alumni of Philly, and Social Justice Medicine welcomes YOU to enjoy a delicious, kosher-style, vegetarian Shabbat dinner on November 10th! We invite you to join in robust discussion around what hunger looks like in our communities, and how we can Act Now to provide relief to those experiencing it, while taking a closer look at our food systems. All food unused during dinner will be repackaged or composted in order to avoid food waste. Gluten-free options will be available.

Brief Shabbat services will be at 6 pm, and dinner will start at 6:30 pm.

Catering by K is for Kitchen. K is for Kitchen is a worker-owned cooperative that connects people with a passion for Life through delicious, ethically-sourced food experiences. Through hands-on education, personal chef-ing, catering, holistic nutrition consultation & much more, we help cultivate an immensely satisfying & abundant food life for all with whom we work — all the while, supporting regenerative food systems that nourish people & the planet. K is for Kitchen grew out of West Philly’s Community Supported Kitchen, a grassroots initiative that transforms donations of unsaleable food into free nourishment for connected communities, hosts educational cook days, and offers a subscription menu of prepared foods & pantry staples. Learn more about our food work & how you can become involved at KisforKitchen.com and culturalengine.strikingly.com.
