Ring in Purim with an interactive celebration full of quirky games (think: human bingo, hamentashen toss, pitch-a-friend power points), playful costumes, storytelling, songs and fun surprises around every corner. Hosted by comedian and Tribe 12 Fellow ’24 Alex Braslavsky and ceremonialist and Tribe 12 Matchmaker Lisa Green!
What’s the schedule? Doors open at 7:30pm for dinner then get silly with us for the interactive show beginning at 8pm.
What’s for dinner? A kosher Chinese food buffet (and hamentashen dessert of course).
What’s to drink? Tribe 12 staff members Julia Hockman and Rachel Lefkowitz will be our guest bartenders, slinging their signature specialty cocktails all night long. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available.
Who’s it for? All people in their 20s and 30s! The event is geared towards building connection with tons of built-in shmooze time, a chance to make new friends over fun icebreakers and a few things geared specifically towards participants who are single. It’s a great event for people of all relationship statuses and all levels of Purim experience.
Should I dress up? Costumes optional!
Is there a megillah reading? Mamash Chabad will be doing a traditional megillah reading in the lobby of the building sharply at 7:30pm! Looking to hear megillah afterwards? Visit our friends at South Philadelphia Shtiebel (9:30pm) or Mamash Chabad (10pm & 10:45pm).
This event is delightfully co-presented by Tribe 12, Weitzman Museum, Spruce Street Minyan and Moishe House Philadelphia. Email danielle@tribe12.org with questions!
