Join us for a writing workshop with the Briya Project! We’ll be joining their monthly drop-in workshop, “Levana”, held in between each month’s new and full moon.
We will write alone, but together — the workshop begins with an opening ritual, followed by a creative writing prompt and individual writing-creating time. The group then returns to share work and give feedback followed by a closing ritual. No previous experience or knowledge of writing or Judaism necessary!
There is a needs-based sliding scale of $10-$20. If there is interest after the workshop, we can explore creating more writing opportunities!
Facilitated by Talia Werber, Founder and Instructor of the Briya Project. Talia is a writer, storyteller, visual artist, mediator, facilitator, and incoming rabbinical student at the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College.
Tribe 12 connects people in their 20s/30s to Jewish life and community in Philadelphia today so they will choose to stay connected tomorrow. We commit to creating a space that celebrates the many gender identities and expressions, sexualities, religious practices, ethnic and multi-ethnic identities, racial and multi-racial identities, disabilities, and financial circumstances that make up our Jewish community.
