Yom HaShoah Remembrance

Please join Moishe House, Jewish Graduate Student Network and Penn Hillel as we commemorate Yom HaShoah with testimonial from a Holocaust survivor, Marius Gherovici, who was placed in detention in the Ghetto of Kishinev and able to escape and hide in Moldova until the Soviet troops liberated Bucharest.

The event will begin at 7 PM and will be held in the Auditorium of Penn Hillel.
Following survivor testimony, we will engage in a post-it activity and discussion to address questions about what it means to be a Jew in the 21st century under the Trump administration. We hope this activity will be an avenue for discussing Jewish identity and empowerment and lead to further conversation.

Please feel free to reach out to Shari R. with any additional questions.
