Experience
The Tribe 12 Fellowship takes Fellows through a rich curriculum built around the themes of self-discovery, philanthropy, emotional intelligence, and entrepreneurship, with an emphasis on entrepreneurial skills like prototyping, public speaking, financials, goal setting, and environmental scanning. Through the program, each Fellow will work extensively with a personal coach to design a capstone project to execute and present at a closing event. The program is designed to run concurrently with school or work obligations and is based in Center City Philadelphia.
Expectations
The commitment for the Fellowship is about 12 “classroom” hours a month, plus additional hours spent meeting with your personal coach. Fellows are expected to attend the opening retreat and 10 of 12 scheduled workshops.
Criteria
Anyone in their 20s and 30s who is in the Greater Philadelphia area who identifies as Jewish, is exploring Judaism, or is in a committed partnership with someone who identifies as Jewish is invited to apply. We are proud that our 100+ fellows represent a range of ethnicities, sexual identities, gender identities, nationalities, races, and religions.
Program Fee
The program fee is $360. Half of this fee is pooled towards a group donation decided on by all Fellows and the remaining fee covers a small part of Tribe 12’s expenses for workshops, speakers, meals, and the weekend-long leadership retreat in Maryland.
