Our LGBTQIA+ programming is for anyone in their 20s/30s in Philadelphia who wants to explore the intersectionality of Jewish and queer identities.
We’re so proud of the unique and multifaceted Jewish LGBTQIA+ identities within our close-knit community! There are so many ways to get involved, from our more intimate monthly Shabbat (Gay)me Nights to decorating a sukkah with 30,000 of our closest friends at Outfest. This is a community-led initiative, so if there’s something you wish you share, celebrate, or explore with us, message the LGBTQIA+ Tribe Leader below to start the conversation!
I always felt like Judaism was shoved down my throat and that my Jewish community wanted me to commit to the religion to suppress my queerness. When I found Tribe 12’s (Gay)me Night and queer community I finally felt like I had a place to figure out Judaism with a group of people like me.
