Tribe 12 Mentorship Program | For Mentors
For Leaders. By Leaders.
Become a Mentor. Shape the Future.
Why Mentor with Tribe 12 Senior Jewish leaders — executives, entrepreneurs, philanthropists, community builders — carry wisdom, perspective, and values that only experience can deliver. The Tribe 12 Mentorship Program offers a way to channel that hard-earned insight into meaningful, long-term impact.
As a mentor, you will:
- Guide a rising young adult through critical early-career and life decisions.
- Share the mindset, values, and leadership habits that helped you build success.
- Give back by investing in emerging Jewish leaders who are ready to expand their potential.
- Strengthen Jewish leadership for generations to come.
- Join a curated network of accomplished, values-aligned peers.
- Grow — not just your mentee, but yourself. Interacting with emerging talent can reawaken creativity, sharpen communication, and reinforce your leadership values.
- Make a significant impact — with modest time commitment. Most mentors invest 1–3 hours a month.
*Applying now will add you to the pool of potential mentors, we will reach out if you are matched for the upcoming cohort to confirm your availability, and if not keep you in the pool for future cohorts.

We’re looking for mentors who are values-driven, ethical, Jewish leaders. Whether you are:
- A business executive, entrepreneur, or founder
- A nonprofit or community leader
- An investor or philanthropic leader
- An educator
- An expert in the legal or financial sectors
- A seasoned professional with substantial industry or community impact
Mentorship experience is not required — what matters is integrity, generosity of spirit, and a commitment to help shape the next wave of Jewish leadership.
Note: Mentors may live anywhere. Annual and monthly events for mentees are Philadelphia-based; mentorship conversations may occur virtually or in person at your discretion.
How Matching Works
We match mentor–mentee pairs with care and intentionality. Our process includes:
- A brief application capturing background, interests, and desired mentoring style
- A proprietary alignment algorithm (developed with JLeaders) to surface strong potential matches based on interests, goals, and values
- A short, optional exploratory meeting between mentor and prospective mentee — to ensure compatibility before finalizing the pairing
Our goal is to create mentor–mentee relationships that feel natural, respectful, and rewarding.
Mentor Commitments
- Kickoff & Mentor Training — February 4 (in-person, with virtual alternative)
- Closing / Graduation — Fall 2026 (with Cohort 2)
Between structured events, mentor–mentee pairs schedule periodic check-ins according to mutual availability.
What You’ll Gain
- Deep personal satisfaction and sense of legacy through meaningful mentorship
- Enhanced leadership & communication skills — coaching a young adult often reveals fresh insights about one’s own professional journey
- Connection to a growing network of Jewish leaders dedicated to excellence, community, and values
- Give back by shaping the kind of Jewish community you want to see, while joining a network of peers who have a shared vision of the future
- A chance to influence and strengthen the future of Jewish community and leadership in Philadelphia and beyond
Our Values, Your Values
