Anti-Resolutions Havdalah (with FED)
Tribe 12 is proud to collaborate with FED on an intimate evening of conversation, Shabbat, and bettering yourself! Kick-off the new year right as Tribe 12 Fellowship alum Michael Gotlib will share practical life guidance. We’ll transition to an experiential activity around “Anti-Resolutions,” before guided small-group conversations to make you think hard about what you need and the coming year.
Note that there are two ticket options. One is totally free and will get you the Zoom link to the event Saturday. The other is $15, which will include a package from FED containing supplies for the event (supplies to make your own gelt, homemade mulling spice to prepare yourself a warm beverage, and a handcrafted challah). There is a limited amount of boxes, which must be ordered by Monday, December 28th to arrive in time.
About FED: FED (www.fedsocial.co) is a platform for ideas and Jewish creativity that is built into an inclusive community. We feature delicious food; inspirational talks, music, and art; and the company and creative energy of others you find at FED. Traditionally based around dinner parties, in these times we have been operating FED Tables, plugging you into Jewish creativity that you can do at home. When you sign up, you receive monthly packages filled with supplies to help you eat, meditate, and craft — and a circle to connect with weekly on Saturday nights for deep conversation, a meaningful Havdalah ritual, and the energy and insights of your peers.
Accessibility: A sign language interpreter, live captioning, and advanced materials are available by request. To aid us in accommodating these and other needs for you to fully participate in this event, please email info@tribe12.org or call us at (267) 652-0088 with at least three days notice.

SOLD OUT: Tribe 12 Goes to Jail (Eastern State Penitentiary Tour)
Did you know Philadelphia is home to one of the world’s first penitentiaries? Did you know Al Capone stayed there in a fancy-decorated cell? And did you know they had a synagogue built for its Jewish prisoners?
Join us as we visit this historic site (all attendees will receive a free hand warmer for the spooky cold parts of the tour)! After the tour, we’ll all grab a drink at Urban Saloon or OCF Cafe; the group votes on whether a stiff cocktail or coffee warms us up!
Space is limited in our tour group, so register fast! The price goes up the longer you wait.
Inclusion notes: Tribe 12 seeks to include all individuals regardless of disability (visible or invisible), financial circumstances, or other needs. We try to be transparent about to what extent we can accommodate needs at each individual event. For specific information about Eastern State’s accessibility, click here to learn more. A sign language interpreter is available by request. If the cost of this event is a barrier for you, please let us know and we can help you.
