In the month of Sivan, we celebrate Shavuot, when the Israelities received the Torah at Mount Sinai and Jewish people were proclaimed “HaShem’s Children”. It is a time of celebration and a time of learning. I invite you to a virtual Qoya space to connect with community and explore the wisdom of your body as we journey through a one-hour group session of mediation, movement, and mindfulness. No experience required! Qoya is not about right or wrong, it is about doing what feels good to you. Join our zoom session prepared to move as we explore how to use the action-oriented Taurus moon and the wisdom of our bodies to let love be our light and our legacy.
Qoya classes are based on the idea that through movement, we remember.
We remember our essence is wise, wild and free.
Wise: calling on the wisdom of yoga.
Wild: the creative expression in dance.
Free: expanding our capacity to enjoy being in our bodies through movement.
Accessibility: A sign language interpreter, live captioning, and advanced materials are available by request. To aid us in accommodating these and other needs for you to fully participate in this event, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at (267) 652-0088 with at least three days notice.
