Cantor* and former Auschwitz prisoner David Wisnia and his grandson, singer/songwriter Avi Wisnia, will share music and the remarkable story of Mr. Wisnia’s survival of Auschwitz, where he was imprisoned for three years. Learn how music helped him survive. * A Cantor is a person trained in the vocal arts who helps lead Jewish congregations in prayer. Mr. Wisnia was a local cantor for many years.
