Online networking doesn’t have to feel like work and online dating doesn’t have to be painful! In this workshop, we’ll use the principles of effective online marketing to present ourselves in the best light, whether on Tinder or LinkedIn. Learn the five key elements of a successful online profile, how to navigate dealbreakers, and a quick-and-dirty date survival guide including techniques for flirting, networking and everything in between.
Come at 6pm for snacks, drinks, and networking. Arrive by 6:30pm for the workshop. Afterwards, opt to get drinks or dinner at Smith’s (one block away) to practice our sweet new skills.
Presenter Jeff Gibbard is The World’s Most Handsome Social Media and Content Marketing Specialist (it says it on his LinkedIn so it must be true, right??) He is also an owner and dating coach at HitchPhilly, an online dating consultancy, and after seven years running an ad agency he founded the Superhero Institute for freelancers, entrepreneurs and people who are stuck in their current job. Jeff found that the same principles that make him a successful marketer are the very same things that made him successful at online dating — he met his wife on OKCupid!
