Each year, during Passover, we reflect on our time in bondage thousands of years ago, in a foreign land. Unfortunately, we cannot ignore the reality that today, here in the United States, many in bondage are forced into servitude, through our unjust system of mass incarceration.
Join us with Jewish Grad Network and JEVS Human Services in Fishtown for a lesson on making Kosher-for-Passover-style cocktails, while learning and having a discussion about mass incarceration and prison reform. There will be alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as well as Kosher-for-Passover snacks to enjoy throughout the event.
Proof of Covid-19 vaccination and boosters required to attend. Please submit here.
